The Smart Health Subcluster is the Strategic Thematic Network of Health Cluster Portugal (HCP) dedicated to Digital Health. It promotes and operationalises capacity-building and collaboration actions among research organisations, companies, and healthcare providers, fostering innovation and the development of solutions to strengthen the sector’s competitiveness and international visibility in Portugal.

The Smart Health Subcluster is the Strategic Thematic Network of Health Cluster Portugal (HCP) dedicated to the digital health ecosystem, fully aligned with the Cluster’s mission and activity plan. Its main objective is to promote innovation and strengthen the international competitiveness of the sector, serving as a collaborative platform connecting R&D organisations, companies, and healthcare providers. This is achieved through the promotion and implementation of capacity-building and collaborative actions, including flagship projects, networking initiatives, capacity mapping, and the identification of market opportunities.
As a collaborative and increasingly self-sustaining initiative, the Smart Health Subcluster aims to generate value through the active engagement of its members, fostering the creation of new working groups, projects, and business models, as well as the internationalisation of national offerings based on innovative digital and technological solutions, contributing to improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery.
