The initiative enables startups, scaleups, spinoffs, SMEs, and healthcare providers to strengthen their ability to develop, test and refine digital health solutions, while simultaneously preparing a series of interregional investment projects for funding and deployment by 2026.

Aiming to catalyze innovation and bridge the gap between MedTech companies and healthcare providers, the overall goal will be achieved through:
- Mapping of the regional value chains by analyzing activities, processes and stakeholders in 5P digital medicine;
- Increasing innovation capacity through collaborative activities, including interregional workshops, customized training programs, demo days and learning missions aimed at improving health systems and patient outcomes;
- Creating an innovation ecosystem through the implementation of dedicated acceleration and mentoring programs;
- Boosting innovation through a European networking platform – the Life Sciences Open Space - that will connect MedTech with healthcare providers, allowing the “test before invest” of 5P solutions;
- Developing investment projects by 2026.
