DigiHealthPT - EDIH

DigiHealthPT is Portugal’s reference European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for Health, dedicated to accelerating the digital transformation of the sector through the safe and responsible adoption of advanced digital technologies, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence, data, and cybersecurity.

Integrated into the European network of EDIHs and aligned with the Digital Europe Programme, DigiHealthPT supports public and private organisations throughout their entire digital innovation journey. The hub operates through an integrated approach, combining technical support, testing and experimentation, capacity building, regulatory guidance, and connections to European initiatives and infrastructures. This approach helps reduce risks, accelerate innovation, and maximise the impact of digital technologies in healthcare.

DigiHealthPT offers an integrated and customised portfolio of services designed to accelerate innovation and digital transition in the health sector. • Digital maturity assessment, supporting the identification of needs, priorities, and use cases;
• Test Before Invest, providing access to testing and experimentation environments for the demonstration and technical and operational validation of digital and AI-based solutions;
• Training and capacity building, fostering skills in digital technologies, data, cybersecurity, regulatory frameworks, and organisational transformation;
• Support for access to funding and investment, strengthening investment readiness and connections to national and European funding instruments;
