Digital Europe Programme (DEP) in summary
The Digital Europe Programme (DEP) aims to reduce the gap between research in digital technologies and market deployment, seeking to strengthen digital transformation across different sectors, notably health.
It is organised into Specific Objectives (SOs):
- SO1: High-Performance Computing
- SO2: Artificial Intelligence *
- SO3: Cybersecurity
- SO4: Digital Skills *
- SO5: Deployment and Interoperability *
- SO6: Semiconductors
The Specific Objectives marked with (*) are the most relevant for entities in the health sector.
Target Audience
- Generally open to all types of legal entities (including public administrations, clusters, R&D organisations, universities, industry, end users and civil society representatives), depending on the call.
- Applications submitted as a consortium.
Project Types
Market-driven innovation projects aimed at strengthening the EU’s digital capabilities, particularly in Artificial Intelligence, cloud and data, cybersecurity, supercomputing and semiconductors.
Funding conditions
