Health Cluster Portugal

Its primary aim is therefore to ‘mobilise, aggregate and catalyse the health ecosystem to facilitate and accelerate its development’, which involves:

  • enriching the interaction between its various stakeholders by promoting collaborative practices within national and international contexts;
  •  identifying barriers and opportunities, overcoming the barriers and maximising the opportunities through the creation of innovative solutions, supported by its recognition and prestige;

The Cluster's success is evaluated by the performance of the health sector according to the following metrics:

Gains for citizens and changes to the structure of the healthcare system to better address future challenges.

An increase in qualifications (from vocational schools to PhDs), R&D, innovation and collaboration between sub-sectors.
