Connected thermometer with the ability to detect ear infections

Otitest is a connected device resembling an ear thermometer. It integrates with mobile applications and aims to enhance the functionalities of typical household thermometers. The subproject focuses on advancing the prototype (currently at TRL6) based on the results of ongoing clinical studies, which evaluate body temperature and the color of the tympanic membrane to detect otitis at an early stage. The goal is to develop the final commercial product, including clinical validation and certification as a Class IIa medical device (FDA approval completed and CE marking in progress).
