HCP | COVIDMonitoring for remote digital monitoring of individuals

08 June 2020

COVIDMonitoring allows digital monitoring of individuals diagnosed and / or suspected of infection by SARS-CoV-2, at their homes, through a bracelet that remotely and locally monitors several parameters: body temperature, oxygen saturation, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, level of physical activity and sleep cycles. This platform integrates this information with that of other epidemiological data collection applications, generating alerts based on the individual's clinical status. These alerts, as well as the measured parameters, are made available in graphic report format to family and public health physicians so that they can carry out active surveillance of the cases.

This project is integrated in a set of actions of the HCP, through its thematic network Smart Health Network, to respond to the pandemic. This and other projects, which are already being developed, involve start-ups and national companies, international partners, R&D institutions and hospitals.

The objective is to support the effort and dedication of healthcare professionals in combating COVID-19 by using the know-how, experience and knowledge of HCP associates in the fields of medical technologies and digital health.
