InnoMedCatalyst
The InnoMedCatalyst initiative aims to enhance the regional innovation capacity of precision and personalized medicine ecosystems across Europe.

About
The initiative enables startups, scaleups, spinoffs, SMEs, entrepreneurs and healthcare providers to strengthen their ability to develop, test and refine digital health solutions, while simultaneously preparing a series of interregional investment projects for funding and deployment by 2026.
Aiming to catalyze innovation and bridge the gap between MedTech companies and healthcare providers, the overall goal will be achieved through a set of guiding pillars, such as the analysis of the regional value chain in precision digital medicine, the creation of guidelines for innovative regional ecosystems, the development of a peer-to-peer learning program to level up European ecosystems, an accelerator program in 5P precision medicine, an innovation networking platform (Life Sciences Open Space) and a portfolio of European interregional investment projects.
Main features of the project:
- Mapping of the regional value chains by analyzing activities, processes and stakeholders in 5P digital medicine;
- Increase innovation capacity through collaborative activities, including interregional workshops, customized training programs, demo days and learning missions aimed at improving health systems and patient outcomes;
- Creation of an innovation ecosystem through the implementation of dedicated acceleration and mentoring programs;
- Boost innovation through a European networking platform that will connect MedTech with healthcare providers, allowing the “test before you invest” of 5P medicine solutions, supported by B2B brokerage events;
- Development of investment projects in precision medicine by 2026.
The consortium, led by the Regional Development Agency of North-Eastern Romania, includes 13 partners from 8 European countries.
