
HeliX - Health Ecosystem for Learning and Innovation Across Sovereign Data Spaces
HeliX is a European project that enables the secure, privacy-preserving use of health data through a federated AI platform. By allowing advanced analytics and machine learning without moving data from their original location, HeliX connects fragmented databases across regions and supports research, innovation and the development of new digital health solutions.

The project is delivered by a multidisciplinary consortium of healthcare providers, technology developers, companies, research organisations and innovation agencies from Portugal, Italy, Hungary and Poland.

KO Meeting
Date: 27 October 2025
On 27 October 2025, HeliX held its kick-off meeting in Porto, bringing together the 14 partners to align objectives and set the first milestones. The following day, the consortium joined the HCP Annual Conference for the public session “Unlocking Health Data with AI”, where the project was presented and key themes such as secondary data use, AI and regulatory alignment were discussed.
