Workshop on Medical Devices / Biotechnology Week

The Biotechnology Week, an event promoted by IAPMEI, University of Minho, MIT Portugal, APBIO, AESBUC, Europe Unlimited and INOVCapital, took place in the University of Minho, from 26th to 31st of May.

The Health Cluster Portugal was involved in the organization of the event, namely on the Workshop on Medical Devices, that brought together national and foreign experts in the area. The Workshop included several topics related to the area of medical devices:

- Product development / regulation;

- Clinical economics;

- Economic development;

- Innovative technologies on medical devices.

Simultaneously with the Workshop, there was an exhibition in which several organizations of the health / medical device value chain were present. Among them were the HCP members Citeve, Medmat Innovation, Neutroplast and Orthos XXI.
