Call for researchers to submit ideas
The Portuguese FP7 Promotion Office (GPPQ), with the support of the Portuguese Industrial Association - Business Confederation (AIP-CE), the Portuguese Business Association (AEP) and the Enterprise Europe Network PT, will hold a Meeting of Enterprises / Researchers, which will be included in the activities to develop in Portugal within the European SME Week, from 6 to 14 May 2009.
At this early stage, the objective is to gather, amongst the researchers, ideas with potential to be transformed into proposals for submission to the 7th Framework Program, which respond to technological problems of companies or aimed at the exploitation of new technological trajectories, and having a considerable economic impact on the companies.
The ideas for projects will be gathered in a catalogue that industrial associations will circulate among its members. In the 1st half of May, during the SME Week, the Meeting of Enterprises / Researchers will be held in Lisbon and Porto, where companies and researchers will have the opportunity to participate in bilateral meetings.
